On the track sat a bewildered cat! Everyone drove by, and only a New York politician stopped to help!
Among politicians there are also compassionate people!
New York politician Francisco Moya was driving around Long Island on May 18, 2018 - and suddenly an animal caught his attention. The animal sat right on a busy highway, on one of the concrete dividing blocks.
The 44-year-old man decided to stop to look at the animal and help him if necessary. A member of the Democratic Party turned on the emergency gang and got out of the car.
It turned out that a striped cat is sitting on a concrete block. The pet looked extremely bewildered, but was not afraid of the stranger and did not hide.
Francisco took the cat in his arms and carried it into the car, laying it on the seat next to the driver's. Then the politician drove into the grocery store and bought some cat food. The pet attacked the treat as if it had not eaten for several days before!
Two hours later, the man found a suitable shelter for the cat. It was a center called Animal Care and Control Center in the Rego Park area.
When a politician interviewed reporters, he advised motorists not to stop the car in the middle of the road in the way he did, as this could cause an accident. But the man simply had no other choice, because he wanted to help the cat!
Since the highway on which the pet turned out is four-lane, he could hardly have saved himself. He was very lucky that Francisco decided to help!
The politician also remembered that he had already seen the cat in the morning - he was sitting in the same place. When Francisco met the cat again, he simply could not pass by. By the way, a man loves cats!
At first, the pet was shackled and shy, but after some time in the shelter he began to feel much better!
Murlyka was chipped, sterilized, and quite quickly found a new family for him!
Now the rescued cat lives in Brooklyn and is completely satisfied with his life.
And Francisco urges all people not to refuse to help our smaller brothers. Thank him for his indifference and love for animals!
